Late Night TV Commercials

We have all, at some point, stayed up late into the night watching TV. Have you ever noticed that more food commercials come on late?

Your sitting there on your couch or laying in your bed watching a made for TV movie, when all of a sudden... staring at you is a mouth watering six dollar burger from Hardies. So what does your mind want to do? Make your body feel hungry.

Or if you are dieting, like it seems I always am, you get the worst hunger pains on the planet at 1am. It also doesn't help that you can get the burger at 1am because most of the places advertising are open.

An open late drive thru should be for potheads and homeless people trying to score some scraps. It should not be there to entice you to get up from your comfort zone, throw on the elastic waist sweatpants, hop into the car and drive to the nearest 24hour drive thru.

However, we all do it and every single red blooded American that's not the HodgesTwins are guilty of it. If they didn't make the food so damn accessible, we wouldn't crave it at 1am. Damn thin-hipped marketing genius.
